First Post by Grandma Faith

my very first blog. First of all, thank you all so much for all the wonderful warm wishes over the Holiday Season. I appreciate everyone's love & kindness.

I have created this blog because of the many email's I receive daily asking me so many different questions. I will be posting answers to those many questions on this Blog rather than to each person in individual emails. This should give me more time to work on my website.

Check out my newest pages on my website. I put the date beside the titles so you can tell which pages are newest.

Happy New Year 2007 to everyone, and May All Your Dreams Come True this year.

Luv,

Grandma Faith

I love this site, it has so many words of encouragement. It would be
so nice though to have words of encouragement for ones who have lost a family pet. Many people don't realize that it can be very traumatic to lose a pet. For some, that is the only family they have.
Thank you so much.............

I do not know the author of this poem but It was so hard to find it on the web site I wanted to put it here for any who need it!

The Rainbow Bridge Poem

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge, there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water, and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who have been maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other.
But there is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth. So each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up. The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group!
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.
